FOUNDER & PURPOSE

A practical approach
to a meaningful problem.

Jonathan Biro founded Biro.dev to make everyday support more accessible and affordable for neurodivergent people, individuals with disabilities, and families.

His background in QA automation informs an emphasis on reliability, clear behavior, and the details that determine whether software is usable. At Biro.dev, that means asking what happens when a plan changes, attention shifts, or someone has less energy than expected.

The company’s first product, AddvancedFocus, is an executive-function assistant in development. It brings the mission into focus: help people find a manageable next step, organize what needs attention, and return after interruptions.

Biro.dev is based in Los Angeles. The company is at an early stage. AddvancedFocus is the flagship, supported by a broader portfolio of future assistive applications in concept development. These products share a commitment to affordability, privacy, accessibility, and user control.

HOW WE APPROACH THE WORK

Useful in the moments
that are hardest to plan for.

Our development approach starts with a concrete need and asks how much work the software removes from the person using it.

01

Start with the moment

A task that feels too large. A routine interrupted. A responsibility that keeps slipping out of view. Define the problem before adding a feature.

02

Make the behavior clear

Show what a suggestion means, what can be changed, and what happens next. Predictable controls matter as much as the intelligence behind them.

03

Build trust through detail

Treat accessibility, privacy, and recovery from mistakes as part of the product. Explain limitations and availability in plain language.

WHAT USEFUL SHOULD MEAN

Less work to use.
More support to act.

These are the questions we intend to use when evaluating product ideas and prototypes. They are development criteria, not measured results.

Does it make the next action clearer?

Someone should be able to understand the suggestion without first learning an elaborate organizing system.

Does it reduce work instead of adding it?

Capturing, correcting, and maintaining information should be considered alongside the benefit of a feature.

Can the person recover and change course?

Interruptions, uncertainty, and mistakes are part of everyday use. Pausing or choosing a different path should feel ordinary.

Does the person remain in control?

Suggestions, communication, personal information, and optional connections need understandable boundaries and choices.
